Children’s TLC 30:4:30 Challenge

The next 5K race I’m running is for Children’s TLC. My husband and I are participating along with our friend. The race also happens to be on our 2nd wedding anniversary, January 29th, 2012. I’m hoping we can make running a race or doing something to give back to others to celebrate all that we have a tradition.

Children’s TLC is a local organization that seeks to provide much needed services for disabled children. Each year, they host one of very few totally underground races to raise funds – the Groundhog Run. To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Groundhog Run, Children’s TLC has presented the 30:4:30 Challenge. Each runner is asked to help raise or contribute at least $30.
